Congratulations to Yakun Zhang on being selected as the recipient of the Soil Science Society of America 2020 Truog Soil Science Outstanding Dissertation Award! The award recognizes a recent PhD degree recipient who has made an outstanding contribution to soil science as evidenced by their PhD thesis or dissertation. Yakun will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony of 2020 Annual Meeting to be held in Phoenix, Arizona, November 8 to 11. Yakun was nominated by Doug Soldat with supporting letters from Phil Barak and Jun Zhu.
